"Leading, to me means creating space where I can inspire others and create a pathway for them to get to wherever they want to go.   I want to always make sure people feel seen, heard, supported and validated.  Leading is being in service and using the platform and blessings that God has given me to do good work. to impact the lives of others and to make choices with integrity.  It is not about authority or a hierarchy but a calling to service.  I try to center the voices of those who are not in the room and to be as authentic as I can by doing the work without compromising who I am or what I stand for.  It takes a level of bravery to do the work that we do.  I think leading is not always being in the fore front but stepping aside and elevating those coming up and those whose voices are powerful but sometimes silenced.   I want people to leave me feeling like I see them and my heart is in the right place. "
